Starts Today! Chicago 16-inch Softball Hall of Fame Online Silent Auction

Hall of Fame Museum also announces launch of new website

The Chicago 16-inch Softball Hall of Fame is holding a silent auction to raise money for the newly remodeled facility in Forest Park, IL. The updated website features bolder graphics and more information, photos and videos on the sport. The site also details the progress of the Hall of Fame museum with a virtual show of the external building completed by Topps Construction and inside displays designed by Motif Exhibits that will open in July 2014. The website design and content was done by Spark Design and MaagComm+ of Tempe, Arizona. Current main sponsors include Molex, MB Financial Bank, March Pumps and Waste Management.

The 16-inch Softball Hall of Fame Museum has been 20 years in the making – celebrating the sport, collecting memorabilia, creating a great place to play softball and honoring those who loved and played the sport. To date, we have collected thousands of photos, trophies, jerseys, and equipment and other memorabilia from the sport dating back to 1930. However, we need help to raise more money to finish the dream of creating a perfect place to tell the story of Chicago’s beloved sport.

Online bidding ends Sunday August 15, 2013 at 6 pm Arizona time, which is 8 pm Chicago time. All proceeds of the auction go to the cause, as all volunteers are unpaid and almost every item is donated. The Hall of Fame is a 501c3, which means all investments are tax deductable.
