Update (Jan 2021) – A Note from our President

Dear 2019 Hall of Fame Inductee:

Hello again, well as you know not much has changed over the past months with the Coronavirus or better known as COVID-19. Due to the uncertainty of the situation, the Board of Directors of the Chicago 16-inch Softball Hall of Fame has decided to cancel the 2020 Hall of Fame Inductees Dinner. We feel that at this time we cannot proceed with a dinner of over 500 people without any certainty that we can keep everyone safe and healthy. The State of Illinois still has not lifted the restrictions on the number of people that can gather in one spot and we are not sure when this might happen. So, what we are planning on doing is moving the 2020 dinner to Friday, November 19th. .  This will be our 25th Anniversary Dinner.  The location will remain the same, Drury Lane Theater in Oak Brook Terrace, IL starting at 6:30 pm.

We apologize but we felt for the safety and health of everyone, it would be in the best interest of our attendees to cancel. If you have already ordered your tickets and would like a refund, please contact Rachell Entler for a refund. Rachell can be reached at 708-366-7500 Ext17 or by email at 16softballhof@gmail.com.  If you would like we can keep your tickets for the April 24th dinner for you. As a side note, we will still be unveiling the new inductee plaques on Sunday, July 19, 2020, at the Hall of Fame Museum and Inductee’s Park in Forest Park.
