The Chicago 16-inch Softball Hall of Fame boasts the best men and women players, organizers, umpires, managers, and supporters of the game since the inception of the sport in 1887. A committee for each era reviews nomination forms and determines which players will be on the annual ballot. The public is also invited to vote and, in a combination with their results, the Hall of Fame executive committee votes to determine each year’s inductees. Since 1995, over 400 members have been inducted. In addition to the inductees, special recognition is given to supporters and teams who have made a difference in our sport with their quality of effort/play and longevity.
