Marty’s softball career started in 1995 playing for the original Snappers from the Eastside, managed by his brother, Matt. In 1997, he got my first taste of major softball when he joined the Rizza Rockers. Two years later he was recruited to the Puglise/Bucks. They went on to have a great four-year run which included a Major National Championship and 2 Forest Park Championships. In 2005, he joined the Miller 45s. That year we compiled a 92-5 record which ended in another Major National Championship. The next year we went on to win both Forest Park and Major Nationals. Over the next few years, he played with Boom- Avalanche- Elite. He rejoined the 45s (Tito’s) and we went on to win Forest Park and Major Nationals in 2016 and 2017. In the 2017 National Tournament, at the age of 45, he led the team in batting average. Still playing with his brother on Moneyline. He won 5 Major National Championships, 5 Forest Park NO Glove National Championships, over 10 other major Titles, and numerous all-star selections. He joins his father Matt was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2003.
