Mark Holstein

Mark will go down as one best power hitters in 16 inch softball history. He started his career in 1997 at Bulger Park with friends. The next 2 years playing with the Penguins and Flash and then 3 years with the Bats. In 2002 he played for the 45s until 2009 and then he played major 12 inch ball and with the Jynx. He returned to play for Sal Milazzo on Signature/ Windy City on their very successful team. He then rejoined Tito’s 45s until 2021. He has won 10 National Championships and 10 Forest Park titles earning 7 MVPs between those two alone. He lost track of all his league, tournament, honors and batting titles. Safe to safe he was an All-American and quite a gentleman.
