Geo is one of the most significant game changers and media personalities in softball history. His innovative efforts in social media and streaming over 1,000 interviews, live league, tournament, and fundraiser games have changed how thousands have viewed and enjoyed our sport around Chicago-land, the USA, and globally. This unprecedented effort has encouraged others to emulate him which is great for the game. With over 33,000 SSA Facebook followers he is exposing the game and its excitement to new fans and players and growing the game. His investment in time and equipment is extraordinary, reflecting his lifetime passion for the game. He was a good player until his 50s, manager of a National A title for Mudville, and 3 straight Forest Park No Glove National Championships with Flashback. Geo is also one of the original organizers and Founding Fathers of the Slow-Pitch Softball Association (SSA), which has grown to be the premier association in the game. Players and organizers are truly excited when he streams their game and all yell his famous first word, “LIVE” from the field.
