The CHAOS team was a Northside team that started playing together at Oriole Park in the 1990s. They came to be one of the premier women’s teams on that side of the city. Behind a core of 8 players who played over 20 years together– each year they would have a team that would go out and compete fiercely, have fun doing it, and win a large percentage of the time. The camaraderie built over the years was a huge part of all their success. Over the course of 25+ years, championships were won at Mt Prospect at Majewski Park, 3 championships at Oriole and 4 at Indian Road Parks. They also competed in tournaments including winning the Mike Royko, ASA Nationals, Jan E Memorial, 2 Sue Marohn Tye-Dye Classic, and 3 The Y-Me Tournament championships. To this day they have annual get-togethers to catch up with each other about kids, families, and of course to relive some great softball memories on and off the field!
