Bob Glosa

Bob was introduced to the game he would love in grammar school. He played first and also pitched later in his career. His first manager’s responsibility was the Normandy Park Crush. In 1988 he would start a new team along with Hall of Famer, Tom Balek by combining players from several successful teams. This team was the Jynx and quickly became the team “that nobody wanted to play”. The Jynx competed in several of the best leagues including Blue Island, Clyde Park, and the Super Pro League in Forest Park. The Jynx would go on to compete in multiple ASA National Championships with several top-five finishes. They won numerous Metros, one ASA A Nationals and one NSA National title. The Jynx enjoyed the game on and off the field and would be recognized by the Hall of Fame after competing from 1988 to 2014. During this time the Jynx lineup consisted of a few HOF Inductees and played in many charity events for The March of Dimes.
